Hello all of you beautiful Vox girls!!!! I am so glad to be back in the saddle again. I am so excited to be able to come back and blog and see all of your faces and FOTD's. I will be doing some FOTD's pretty soon myself. I have been sick for about 5 months and I am finally ready to get back in the swing of things. I am also very excited to announce that I have reinvented my original Neutral shade for foundation. The Neutral shade of my Ethereal Minerals is one of my top sellers for all my Asian and Latino skinned girls. The Neutral shade is one that my blonde haired blue eyed daughter wears and my olive skined dark haired and green eyed daughter wears. It is a really nice formula and I would like to share it with you if you would like to see it. It comes in Neutral 1.0. 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5. I also can custome create a shade inbetween if needed. So again...I am glad to be back and I hope to hear from all of you!!! Hugs to all!

I want to share a brand new shade with everyone!!! A beautiful lady requested a particular shade, something beige an and very shimmery, a hi-lighter type of shade. So immediately I went to work and have created
"Sexi-Sexi". It is a very nice hi-lighter in a champagne beige/taupe shade and is very shimmery. I am in love with this new shade! Thank you Michelle for asking for it!!.
For anyone who wants to try this shade just pay $1.50 ($2.50 for international requests) and this includes postage and handling and the shade itself. Email awesomeminerals@earthlink.net and ask for Sexi-Sexi
Here is my FOTD yesterday and I am modeling the Radiance Finishing Minerals on my lips. I was not feeling well(headache) but I still had to get my FOTD on because I sell minerals and how can I go out in public with out my face!? I did a few errands in town...has some orders to fill and mail off...I don't like to make my ladies wait so I get those packages out to the post office as soon as possible!! I know how it is waiting for a new package to arrive. So exciting. So anyhow I got this shot as I was leaving the house. My son said "mom, you are so conceited". I tell him no I am not!! I have to show my minerals off on Vox so I have to take a pic! He thinks i am silly. What does he know. I thought
I would put a pic of him and me from the day before. Just for his comment I am going ot make him let me try minerals on him and test out my new shades. Oh ya, I wanted to show the metals up close. They are so awesome! They are left to right Nefertiti, Egypt and Pyramid. In all of my mineral makeup experiences I have determined that it is has been a challenge for women of color to find their perfect shade. It is a big frustration. I have a friend who until now has not been happy with any of the minerals she has tried until I custom designed one specifically for her. She is thrilled. And I want to extend this service to any and all women of color who would like a custom designed mineral foundation shade. Feel free to contact me at awesomeminerals@earthlink.net and we can get started. There is a small fee of $5.00 to cover cost of samples and postage. This will be refunded if a match is not produced. But I am sure that I can match your skin tone. We are all verying degrees and combinations of the three primary colors, red, yellow and blue. So let's get started, today!! :)

I wanted to share my awesome Brown Sugar Scrub Recipe with you. I really needed some pampering last night. I have dry skin and I was tired of it!!! So I got a little dish and filled it up with some organic brown sugar and to it I added some sweet almond oil, a little bit of olive oil and some grapeseed oil and then I added a few drops of lavender essential oil, mixed it up with a fork until it looked evenly mixed. I sniffed it and it smelled really good. Then I got to scrubbing in the shower. I scrubbed all over and even my face....oops some got in my mouth....yum....and then I just kind of stood in the shower for a few more minutes letting the oils do their thing....now mind you my hair is a bit longer so I had it put up on my head becuase it will get oily if you don't...and then I rinsed off and rinsed some more until all the little sugar granules were gone. Got out of the shower and patted my skin dry and I went to bed feeling so lovely and silky soft and my skin loved it sooooo much!
Recipe:
1 cup organic (or reg.) brown sugar
1/4 to 1/2 cup of oils of your choice (grapeseed, aweet almond, apricot kernel, jojoba, olive...)
You can just create a coctail of the oils and pour a little of this and a little of that. That is what I did.
5-10 drops of the smell of the day...Essential oil of whatever you like. Lavender, Rose (sooo wonderful) Lemon, Orange, Bergamot, Tangerine...you decide.
Now just mix it up and then go to the shower and scrub all over.
If you have leftovers then just save it for the next scrub.
Hope you enjoyed this post and let me know if you liked the recipe. :)
